Octagonal box with Egyptianizing motives. On the top an Egyptian lady is laying on a day bed surrounded by three musicians and dancers. This scenery could be a free version of the famous painting by Alexandre Cabanel (1823-1889) titled “Cleopatra testing poisons on condemned prisoners”. The four sides of the box are decorated as well with Egyptianizing motives.
