Replica of the so called Bankes Obelisk. The obelisk originates from the temple of Philae and has been re-erected in the garden of the English traveller William John Bankes at Kingston Lacy/Dorest/England. Made of marble, this obelisk bears hieroglyphic signs of good quality styled after the publication of W.J. Bankes in 1821.
