Bowl Rome, 1st -3rd century / France, 19th century

A rare Roman 1^st – 3^rd century luxurious bowl of Egyptian porphyry – the granito antico from Gebel Dokhan  – mounted in Paris in the 2^nd half of the 19^th century by the famous Escalier company as stated under the vessel`s stand.
