Claude Louis Châtelet

(1753 – 1795)

 

The pharos of Santa Lucia at Neaples is depicted on top of the lacquer box with the Vesus mountain in the background. This landscape is a copy of a painting by Claude Louis Châtelet (1753-1795) presented in his „Voyage pittoresque de Naples et de Sicile“.
