Cabinet, Germany, Nürnberg, 2nd half 18th century

This cabinet veneered with walnut and decorated with an elaborately marquetery as well as full columns on both sides belongs to the representative furniture. Therefore, such a cabinet often stood in the lobby where it immediately recalled its owner’s wealth and importance.
